Dear Customers and Friends, 8 years ago, Christina and I were running a successful web design business which relied upon dependable hosting. After many years of outsourcing, it seemed a natural progression that we take this in-house. We were determined to create a good customer service experience as well as a brand and website that was easy to understand and accessible to all. After much excitement and many late nights, Squirrel Hosting was born, and so began a new chapter in our lives. We are immensely grateful for all of the support over the years that has helped Squirrel grow to where it is today. With growth comes additional challenges. We’ve had issues with our current provider losing power, increasing prices (which we didn’t pass on) and utterly failing to remedy IP blacklisting which has caused clients significant and ongoing email problems. To add to this Christina and I had another enterprise that has suddenly started taking off. With only 2 of us there aren’t enough hours in the day to run both businesses to the level that we’d like and we felt that after 8 years we were ready for a new challenge. We have a great deal of respect and fondness for you all and think it only fair that you receive the best service possible in our absence.
