We’ve been working hard over the past quarter to make our customer support even better. A key development has been the recent introduction of our prompt and efficient AI-powered chat. Designed specifically for clients who need a quick and simple answer to help them self serve, this technology has already reduced the support volume of chats by over 50%. This has also significantly cut average waiting times on phone and support tickets for those unable to self serve. In July, we headed off to London Tech Week, one of the UK technology industry’s key events and the place to be for those wondering where tech will take us next. Our team set up the World of Krystal stand to help forward-thinking entrepreneurs learn about the benefits of Krystal’s award-winning, 100% renewably powered hosting. In 2021, I organised an EGM to intervene in what I (and others) believed was the ongoing mismanagement of Nominet, the organisation responsible for securely managing nearly 11 million .uk domains. Thanks to the support of other concerned members (a true testament to people power!), the EGM was successful and brought about a changing of the guard. I later joined the board for a 3-year term, which is coming to an end in October. I’ve decided not to stand for re-election. Find out why I think this is a good thing in my blog post.
