Over the past 15 years, Krystal has always aimed to deliver great technology and great service for your hosting needs. Throughout these 15 years we have constantly been improving everything we offer from ensuring we were one of the first hosts in the UK to offer SSDs to all shared hosting clients through to providing free SSLs. Where others have charged extra for what should be standard features, we have always provided them at no additional charge.
The last few years has also been one of rising costs for us all. From the cost we pay for our hardware through to the cost of electricity to power our servers, these prices have risen.
We have previously absorbed those rising costs but as we invest further into technology and services the cost to constantly deliver the great customer experience you are receiving today and in the future has increased.
Our focus on great technology, brilliant support and software development in the UK has allowed us to become the largest independent hosting company in the UK according to Netcraft and we intend to keep it that way by continual investment.
From May 1 2018, as a result of the rising costs, we will be increasing the price for new customers to our Amethyst and Topaz hosting packages by £1 and £2 a month respectively and from August 1 2018 existing customers will also be paying the same. The new pricing as an existing customer only comes into effect with your first bill on or after August 1 2018.

Pricing for Ruby remains the same and for those on Amethyst or Topaz, it is a very quick and easy upgrade path if you wish to move up to Ruby and benefit from the additional unlimited features it offers.
Also, you can lock in 1 year and 3 year discount pricing by renewing before August 1 2018 and extend your current hosting by 1 or 3 years at these current prices.
